Speech Language Services
Direct Speech-Language Therapy Services
Sessions may be 30 to 45 minutes in length depending on the needs of the child/family. Sessions can occur in person or via tele-therapy. Tele-therapy is available for all NYS residents.
Services are provided for children ages birth through 5 years of age. Limited early elementary sessions are available for children with speech sound difficulties and those who are deaf/hard of hearing.
Parent Consultation
Consultations with parents can occur via phone or video call and may include parent coaching with or without child present. Consultation may include discussion strategies/techniques/activities to try at home to further the success of the child. Inquire to find out more about parent consultation packages that are available.
Advocacy
May include supporting clients and their families at meetings, reviewing reports/IFSPs/IEPs/504 plans, and providing consultation to families to ensure that appropriate services are in place.
Mentoring
Support of other speech-language pathologists or professionals in the larger community who want to learn more and improve their skills in working with clients/families. Mentoring areas include early language, parent coaching, private practice, speech sound disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, and hearing loss.
Speaking
I am available for public speaking engagements for both large and small groups. I am very passionate about educating parents and other professionals. I would love to share my knowledge, expertise, and experience with others to help facilitate learning and discussions at your organization or event.
